Southwest Cannabis has been crafting high-altitude cannabis with care and passion since its founding as the oldest and largest producer in Northern New Mexico. With ten stores spanning Albuquerque to Taos, they are committed to delivering exceptional, handcrafted cannabis grown at 7,000 feet. Their iconic “Flower Bars” offer a deli-style experience, featuring only their own meticulously cultivated flower alongside a curated selection of concentrates, edibles, and vapes.

Benthouse joined Southwest Cannabis as a creative partner to define and communicate their unique story. Beginning with strategy and value propositions, we worked to position their hands-on growing practices and high-desert expertise as defining elements of their identity. Updated brand visuals infused their narrative with vibrant colors and bold designs, capturing the essence of “handcrafted and high-altitude cannabis.”

From managing their Weedmaps presence, social media, newsletters, and in-store signage, to coordinating specials programming across their ten locations, we ensure every customer touchpoint reflects their values. Beyond weekly efforts, we’ve developed larger campaigns, including billboards, a fully custom and interactive website, and packaging for their in-house rosin line, "James." These projects amplify their presence, highlight the premium quality behind their offerings, and bring their story to life across all channels.
